Thank you for choosing to use the FiMo Copilot service ("the Service"), developed and operated by Modeling Copilot LLC and/or its affiliates ("we," "us," or "our").

This Policy explains how we handle and protect your personal information and outlines the rights you have concerning your information. 1. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to your access and use of any or all parts of the FiMo Copilot service.

The FiMo Copilot service is an artificial intelligence online service we provide based on large language model technology. It primarily includes conversational AI services, content generation services, reading comprehension services, and any other services that may be introduced and included within the scope of the FiMo Copilot service in the future. The specific services are subject to what we actually provide.

1.1 Conversational AI Service: Real-time question-and-answer interactions between you and FiMo Copilot.

1.2 Content Generation Service: Including but not limited to:

  • 1.2.1 Generation of financial models and related spreadsheet formulas and processing results, including financial models generated after online modifications.
  • 1.2.2 Generation of analytical text related to the financial modeling process and results.
  • 1.2.3 Input of file/text content, such as converting text/images into model parameters, converting text/images into forms, and converting tables and charts in presentation documents into presentation content.

1.3 Reading Comprehension Service: Including but not limited to the interpretation, summarization, and analysis of file content (file types include, but are not limited to, text, presentations, PDF, images, audio, and video) and form data.

2. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Account Login

Use of the Service may require creating an account or logging in via a third-party service. We will collect the account information authorized by you from the third-party provider (such as your profile picture, name, and email address, subject to your authorization settings).

Providing the FiMo Copilot Service

2.1 Conversational AI Service

When you use the conversational AI service, we collect the dialogue information you voluntarily input during the interaction to provide you with responsive content.

2.2 Content Generation Service

When you use features for generating financial models, formulas, or processing results, we collect the content and commands you enter into relevant templates or dialogue boxes. When you use other content generation or format conversion features on your content (including but not limited to opened/uploaded files, selected text, or collected data, hereinafter referred to as "Content to be Processed"), we collect your input commands (if any) and keystrokes, and process the Content to be Processed on our servers to generate the corresponding output for you.

2.3 Reading Comprehension Service

When you use the reading comprehension service, we collect the commands you input through the dialogue box (if any) and process the Content to be Processed on our servers to provide you with explanatory, summary, or analytical content.

Orders and Payments

2.4 Placing and Managing Orders

When you purchase premium or value-added services, we need to process some or all of the following personal information to help you complete the purchase, receive the service, query order information, and obtain invoices: your transaction details (product/service), order number, order time, order amount, your notes, and relevant invoice information (invoice type, name, tax ID, registered address, phone number, bank name, bank account number, invoice content, amount, notes, and recipient phone number or email address).

2.5 Payment Processing

To complete your payment and ensure transaction security, we need to collect your transaction information and share some or all of this information securely with our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe and PayPal).

2.6 Feedback

You can submit feedback and suggestions through the "Feedback" module. When you do so, we collect the product name you selected, the content of your feedback, any uploaded files, and associated log files to better understand and address your concerns. Providing the product name and feedback content is necessary to use this function. If the information you provide is insufficient to resolve the issue, we may use the contact information you provided to contact you and, with your knowledge, access your service usage logs and other relevant information.

2.7 Operations and Security

To ensure the secure and efficient operation of the Service, we collect and store details of your usage as web log information using server-side logging or similar technologies. This includes service usage data, software information (version number, language, channel), account information, network location information (derived from your IP address, limited to country/state/city), operational behavior data, and service response information (frequency, time, duration, errors, crashes). This data helps us perform service analytics, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability and security of the Service.

2.8 Customer Service and Support

If you require customer support, we will ask for and use your account information to verify your identity. When you need support related to your usage history, we may access your service usage logs, order information (if any), and the content of your emails, screenshots, documents, or communications with our support staff to diagnose and resolve your issue.

3. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

To ensure the proper functioning of the Service, we may store small data files called Cookies on your device. Cookies typically contain identifiers, site names, and some numbers and characters. We may set authentication and security Cookies to confirm your login status or detect fraudulent or unlawful activities. These technologies also help us improve service efficiency and response speed. Using Cookies can save you from repeatedly entering personal information and search queries. We will not use Cookies for any purpose other than those described in this Policy.

  • 5.1.1. Using secure transport protocols (TLS, WSS) and other appropriate encryption algorithms to transmit your personal information.
  • 5.1.2. Storing your personal information on secure servers protected within controlled facilities.
  • 5.1.3. Classifying personal information based on importance and sensitivity and applying corresponding security measures for each level.
  • 5.1.4. Implementing specific access control policies for cloud-stored data to ensure that only authorized personnel can access it.
  • 5.1.5. Regularly reviewing our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorized access and use.
  • 5.1.6. Conducting information security and privacy protection training and assessments to enhance employee awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.

5.2 Security System Guarantee

We have established a data security management system centered around the data lifecycle, enhancing the security of the Service from multiple dimensions, including organizational structure, policy design, personnel management, product technology, and personal information security impact assessments.

5.3 Security Incident Response

In the event of a personal information security incident, we will, as required by law, promptly inform you of: the basic situation and potential impact of the incident, the remedial measures we have taken, and the measures you can take to mitigate harm. We will notify you via push notifications or other effective means. If individual notification is difficult, we will issue a public announcement. We will also report the handling of the incident to regulatory authorities as required.

5.4 How We Store Your Personal Information

5.4.1 Storage Location

In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we store your personal information collected and generated within the United States.

5.4.2 Storage Period

5.4.2.1 We will retain your personal information only for the minimum period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, unless you agree to an extended retention period or a longer period is permitted by law.

5.4.2.2 If the Service ceases operations, we will notify you in advance through a prominent notice, push message, or other means, and we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a legally prescribed timeframe.

We highly value your control over your personal information and will do our best to ensure you can exercise your rights.

6.1 Access and Copy Your Personal Information

You can access and obtain a copy of your personal information by contacting us through the methods provided in this Policy.

6.1.1. After verifying your identity, we will provide you with a copy of the personal information stored within our Service.

6.2 Deleting Your Account

6.2.1. You may request to delete your account through the following method, following any relevant prompts:

6.2.1.1. On the web portal (https://financialmodeling.tech/) via the "Permanently Delete Account" option.

6.2.2. Before your account is deleted, we will verify your identity, security status, and device information. We will assist you with account deletion after confirming there are no public/private documents under your account, you have deleted any teams you created (if any), and you are no longer an administrator of any enterprise/organization (if any).

6.2.3. You acknowledge and agree that:

6.2.3.1. If you leave an enterprise/organization or if your enterprise/organization is dissolved, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within that entity according to the administrator's instructions, but your personal information as a general FiMo Copilot user will be retained.

6.2.3.2. Account deletion is an irreversible action. Once your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, unless otherwise required by law or requested by you.

7. Protection of Minors' Personal Information

The Service is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us using the information provided above.

8. How This Policy is Updated

We may revise this Policy from time to time. When this Policy is updated, we will present the revised version to you via push notifications, pop-up windows, or other means upon your next login or a version update, so that you can stay informed of the latest version. If the revisions involve material changes to the purpose, method, or type of personal information processing, we will obtain your consent again for the updated terms as required by applicable law.
